Reuse Stamps "Packing material and Toilet roll core"

Hello again! I am Akiko.
The stamp aiming at reuse is introduced today also.
Today's layout uses a toilet roll core and a packing material.

I attached acrylics paints to the toilet roll core, and used as a stamp.

It is the packing material usually used in Japan.
Interesting expression can be performed by using it as a stamp.

 Supplies:
Lola - Lulliloo Collection
Sugarhigh - Mooch Collection
Alphabet - Urban Cut Collection
Accents - Urban Cut Collection

I changed the toilet roll core and made it the heart type.
And I used it as a stamp. It is self-confident as that it is a wonderful idea.

These may become the somewhat ill-shaped heart. However, my it is darling:)

Supplies:
Smootch - Mooch Collection
Spark - Mooch Collection
Alphabet - Urban Cut Collection
Accents - Urban Cut Collection

Please use materials, such as corrugated paper, a packing material, and a toilet roll core,
for the purpose of reuse.
I recommend enjoying a stamp easily.

Thanks!!!

Beautiful

There are so many elements of the Urban Lily papers that I just have to cut out. They make the prettiest of combinations and I so love all the swirls. Today I've got an over sized card to share with you that I created using a few different Urban Lily paper collections

First off, some Mayella Impish. This stripe is one of my favorites, so versatile and cheery. I then cut out the frame from the Mayella Bliss. I colored it with copices and added some stickles and rhinestones after I'd masked and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The sage colored fourishes are cut from the Mayella Pure papers. The Beautiful sentiment, from the Happy Everything Beautiful papers, and finally that butterfly... My favorite image in all of the Urban Lily collections, cut from the Mayella Bliss paper.

I absolutely love how this one turned out and I hope that I've given you some ideas on how to use these wonderful Urban Lily papers.Don't be afraid to cut them up and use what sings to you. Your end result might surprise you. Simple beautiful especially when you pair it up with Helmar Adhesives!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you have a fantastic rest of your week

About Me by Virginia

So you cook and craft with your kids? My girls and I make cookies and other easy food items all the time. As they get older, we are starting to scrap more and more. This mini album was made by my youngest daughter and myself. I cut the pages and adhered them together but she picked the photos, used my circle punch and did the journaling.

Here is her album.

This mini album was created with the Black & White Mini Album paper.

If you haven't scrapped with your kids, give it a try! You personally don't get much done but goodness you learn so much about your kids in that one hour!

Thanks for letting me share!

Everyday Lily

I've never been big on the color blue. I don't have boys, and I always find blue papers to be very "boyish". Not so with the Urban Lily "Everyday Lily" collection. I love the soft shades of blue and the very "girlie" swirls and flowers. It gives the papers a very feminine feel.

I like to use the papers with border punches. Its a great way to be able to mix and match the different patterns without it looking too busy or overpowering.

On this first card, I used 3 different papers - Linen, Linen Stripe and Linen Dot. I love the way they all blend together so beautifully. I used a border punch to soften the edge just a little bit and keep it feminine.

On the second card, I used the same paper combinations and incorporated some coordinating cardstocks. I used several different border punches to keep that soft look I was going for. I just goes to show you that with a little creativity and the right product, you can use colors that you never thought you could!

until next time,
Scrap Happy!

Round and Round with Virginia

Do you cringe at the sight of paper not in the traditional 12x12 shape and size? Or do you jump up with glee?

Personally I love the unique look of non-traditional shapes and sizes of papers. One of the Urban Lily papers that I particularily love is the preprinted circle with a floral bouquet on the side; that is, Lala and Pink Flamingo.

Here are my layouts using the Lala and Pink Flamingo, respectively, papers.

Additional Supplies:  BasicGrey (alphas, black gems); Tattered Angels (glimmer mist); Kaisercraft (gems)

Additional Supplies:  Doodlebug (alphas); EK Success (pen for my daughter to print her name); Kaisercraft (gems); American Crafts (ribbon); Prima (gem crown and star)

Thanks for letting me share!

Christmas Countdown

I know, it's not even Halloween yet but Christmas can really sneak up on you especially if you are a crafty person who likes to make gifts for others (or yourself)! Something that I have always wanted to make and have never allowed myself the time to make is a Christmas Countdown calendar. I decided that the Urban Lily Secret Keeper cards were just the thing to use to make a count down.
I started by cutting the circle from Urban Lily Mooch Sugar High and running it through my embossing machine to put some music notes on it. Then I cut out the flowers from Urban Lily Happy Everything Friends to decorate the top of the circle. The bird also looked really cute flying next to the circle so I put him on there. I decided to add a ribbon to the top of the circle and turn it into an ornament. Then I stamped the word Noel in another ornament next to it and added some twine to hold it up.

The ornament, bird, and chipboard piece covered in more of the Sugar High paper are held in place using Helmar Professional Scrapbooking Adhesive. The ribbon and twine are held in place using Helmar 450 quickdry.
Opening the Secret Keeper Card you can see that I have colored the white surface with alcohol ink and stamped a calendar and some holly leaves with Stazon Ink. I can cross off each day or I could put a marker over each day so that I can use the calendar again next year.

I'm really excited for the holidays and I hope that you found this project inspiring. Have fun with your own holiday crafting!

Scrap Keeper

I don't know what you do with your scraps, but I used to just chuck them in a drawer never to be heard from again. Months would go by...even years...and then in some cleaning frenzy I'd find them tucked away and forgotten. For me, out of sight really IS out of mind.

I made myself this "Scrap Bag" to hold my scraps instead. I sit it on my shelf where I can see it every day, and it reminds me of the little treasures that I've placed inside it to be used again. I have to say, it really does work. I find myself reaching into it on a regular basis and actually using my scraps again.

I bought the plain white bag at the dollar store, and covered it with a large scrap of "Linen Stripe" paper from the Everyday Lily collection. I cut out the letters from the "Urban Cut" alphabets sheets and then added a little glittery border just for fun.

It was super fast and easy to make, and it looks so pretty sitting on my shelf. Maybe a scrap bag is just what YOU need?

Until next time,

family by Polinka

Family

A very easy layout... I wanted to use the beautiful paper's design entirely!!
I adhered the photo to the background layout, in the corner, in order to have the heart around the faces... And then I stitched the heart in PINK (for october, against breast cancer!) over the picture...

I wrote the title with a white gel pen and sprayed over it with light pink glimmer mist...

The paper I used here is: Smooch - Mooch Collection by Urban Lily

Have a great day!!

Butterflies

Yep, it's true. I absolutely love butterflies. Every color and size there are out there, I just love them. It is one of the main reasons I love Urban Lily papers. So many butterflies!!!

Hi Everyone, Erika here and today I've got a card a tag pair to share with you. I've used papers from the Mooch collection as well as Lulliloo and Sugary. I'm so in love with the set hehe

For the card, I used the Mini Book Bright Urban Cut Collection and I love how the sentiment just pops. Adding a little stickles to finish it out to boot. I can't make a card without a little blingage.

Next the tag, filled with Mini Book Bright Urban Cut goodness and fussy cutting from the Lulu paper in the Lulliloo Collection. The Butterflies have been cut from Spark and Bliss papers. I also used an ATC card from the Flirtatious Kit for the base of the tag

Thanks for stopping by today. I'm excited about all these butterflies. Try your hand at a card/tag combo and see what you come up with

Until next time
