Happy Tuesday!

Hi everyone! Today is my first blog post as an Urban Swank designer and I am so excited! Not as excited though as when I received my box of Urban Lily products! I love to fancy paper cut, so the Urban Lily papers are a dream come true for me. For my first design I decided to used several different techniques. First off I knew that I wanted to glimmer mist the "Lola" paper as soon as I saw it. I loved the center design but wanted to add some color. I used little pieces of masking tape to tape off the center so that only the surrounding area would be misted. I love the way it turned out! What do you think? I also cut out the letter b from the Urban Cut Alphabet sheet and used an orange copic to color it in. I cut out the little bird from the Urban Cut Accent sheet and then used two of the ATC cards for background mats. I also cut one of the photo cards in half and used it as an additonal mat. To give this design just a little bit of bling I added some rhinestones to the crown and frame. I hope you enjoy my first design for Urban Swank, and I can't wait to get to working on some more!
