Today, I plan on sharing a couple of layouts that I've created using some of Urban Swank's GORGEOUS papers.
In this first layout, I used the MINI BOOK BRIGHT sheet. This sheet of paper was intended to be a mini book, and I've also seen people use this paper as journaling spots. However, I used this sheet as multiple frames for a handful of my photos. This is a great way to get a ton of photos onto a single-paged layout.

In my second layout, it was all about "fussy cutting". What's that?! You don't know what "fussy cutting" is?! Well, let's just say that it requires a lot of patience and preferably a small pair of sharp scissors. Basically, it's all about cutting around the detailed patterns, borders, and images on your patterned papers. In the following layout, I cut around a bunch of the flourishes and swirls. By adding the swirls that I cut out, I created more "pa-zazz" to my layout.

...so have you played with some Urban Swank stuff recently?! If so, make sure to let us know by leaving a comment on any blog posts linking us back to your work. We'd LOVE to see what you're up to! :)
Stay tuned for more creativity from my fellow design team members!
Hugs,
sarah.
