Urban does vintage - Jo-Anne

I love vintage
I adore vintage and I cant help it....I am an addict :)

So its my turn to blog and I thought I would do something really vintage to demonstrate that even the cleanest of papers can be used in a vintage way.

I added a vintage label form my own stash and a flower simply made from old dressmaking paper.

I love how the bright green paper becomes faded when you pt it with an old faded photo on a cabinet card.
The flower is so simple.
Cut as many circles as you fancy.....the more the beter!.......pile them on top of each other and staple in the middle in a cross to secure.
Then moving around the flower cut from the outside edge inwards, being careful to stop about 10mm from the middle. Continue around and then the fun bit...fluff!!!
I added a button to the middle but you could add an urban liliy chipboard piece or a second smaller flower. You can make your flower in book paper, newspaper, infact anything that will fluff out at the end.
Can you imagine now how handy the Martha stewart new multi blade scissors will be!!

Try the vintage route....you will be hooked!
