Enough to chase those Winter Blues away!

As we feel the last gasp of Winter before Spring settles into North America I had to dig out the winter pictures to scrap with the cool colors of these Urban Lily papers. There are so many wonderful designs that are a breeze to work with in the Urban Lily papers. Here are two pages that I think prove just how much fun can be had in both the snow and with the patters of the papers.

On this first page, I've paired some Core'dinations cardstock with a brown top and green underside that perfectly matches the greens of Everyday Lily - Linen, May Bella - Petite, and Everyday Lily - Sushi dot.

I also decorated one of the Urban Lily Secret Keeper Windows in my favorite way with Colorbox fluid chalk in and Tattered Angels glimmer mist topped with more of the olive green Urban Lily papers. The centers of the bursts created by cutting from the center out along the lines of the paper and folding the papers back are rhinestones that have been colored to match with alcohol inks.

In "Winter Blues" I decided to accent the designs of the papers (May Ella - Pure and Blink- Polo) with folded pieces of white cardstock cut to just the right shapes. I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere the cardstock pieces and it was the perfect adhesive to help the papers stay popped up. The effect is amazing in person.

All of the work was completed using Helmar Adhesives - Acid Free Professional Glue, 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, and their dry glue.

Thanks for stopping by to see our beautiful Urban Lily creations!
